Okay before I get into this you should all know this is not going to be your average post on privacy because well fuck average and I don't really have anything to say about general privacy on a whole that really matters or is substantial or well isn't common fucking sense. My topic of privacy will be something decidedly different because the thing that I'm going to talk about is masturbation.
I masturbate frequently. Two to three times a day sometimes and yes I'm a pervert and all that jazz well fuck you prude. I don't masturbate because I'm always horny though. I masturbate because my train of thought is "Nobody is around/nobody is awake and I have an opportunity to masturbate so why the fuck not because I can't do it later?"
Which is odd because it's not like I'm ever going to regret not masturbating. It's just that masturbation is such a private affair. I do it when I have alone time which seeing as I live with my family right now is usually at the hours of 2:00 AM to 6:00 AM.
And it occurs to me what me masturbating is: Not some sexual release or some perverted ritual but it's me making use of my "privacy". The only times I can masturbate is when I have true privacy and thus instead of wasting that I use the opportunity.
It's a bit pointless and masturbation has waned as anything of a pleasurable activity(98% of the time anyways)but I'm not exactly as perplexed or disgusted by it as I usually was. "Why do I have to masturbate so much?! Is it some lack of self-control?!" which is what I used to think is no longer applying. I can see that I'm using privacy to its fullest extent and I know that when I have my own place or live away from my family that I will probably masturbate significantly less. If at all.
It's not the most productive use of privacy; I could use it to be writing or reading but those I can do when people are around or awake. Masturbation is just an act that makes use of my privacy. So if you masturbate don't worry about it; you're just making use of your rights and freedoms.
